Earlene Barfield Campbell's Obituary
In memory of Earlene Barfield Campbell, cherished wife and mother. Born on April 21, 1938, Earlene reunited with her husband Byron Maurice Campbell on April 23, 2024.
Beloved mother of four: Gary Campbell (Andrea), Ricky Campbell (Stephanie), Steven Campbell (Laura), and Tonya Campbell Wilson (Gary). She adored her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was born in Cordele, Georgia, to Earl and Alice Barfield, grew up and met her husband in Lake Wales, Florida where she attended Lake Wales High School. She spent most of her adult life raising her family in Fort Myers, Florida, and spent the last 15 years residing in Orlando with her daughter. She was one of five siblings, survived by her sister Joyce Cason and predeceased by her brothers Billy Joe, Kenny, and Sonny. She was deeply devoted to her faith and was passionate about the King of Kings, Jesus Christ and the King of Rock ‘N Roll, Elvis Presley. She was servant hearted always willing to lend a helping hand…unless it was during her favorite soap opera. It was easy to make her smile, all it took was a snickers bar or some peanut M&M’s!
Please join us to honor her life and legacy at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery in Fort Myers, Florida, on Saturday, May 11, 2024.12pm Public Viewing, 1pm Service. Rest in peace, Earlene.
