Although I never had the pleasure of knowing Ed, I do know he raised two wonderful daughters in Joyce and Sherilyn, which speaks to the kind of person he was. I'm thinking of you and hoping your memories of the life and love he shared with you will give you comfort.

I have many fond memories working with Ed at Quabbin. He seemed to grab all those jobs for himself as he loved working in the forest enjoying the wildlife and solitude. I was always greeted with a warm smile and the mischievous twinkle in his eye. I learned a lot from Ed and his memory will live long in my heart. My heart goes out to Nora, Bill, Cathi, Clint, and the extended Sykes clan. Dave Small

Sending sincere sympathies for Kurt Wells. He worked for Ed many years, and later worked for “the boys”. Kurt always spoke highly of Ed, if he knew Ed was back in the area would meet up with him from time to time. Sorry for the loss of one of the good guys.
