Edna June Jordan's Obituary
Edna June (Cline) Jordan, 85, died peacefully on April 5, 2025 at home in North Fort Myers, Florida. She was born August 22, 1939 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Horace Cline and Ruby Mostrom. June was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Jordan, and her brothers Horace E. Cline Jr. and Mack D. Cline.
June graduated from Glen Burnie High School, Class of 1957. June worked alongside her husband in the family business, V. Jordan Lumber Co. in Glen Burnie, MD, and upon their move to Florida, worked in the family business, Swan Lake Mobile Home Village in North Fort Myers, Florida.
She loved God and was a life-long member of Grace Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene in Severn, MD (formerly Marley Park Church of the Nazarene). She also loved and attended Anthem Church of the Nazarene in Fort Myers. She was a kind, generous and gracious person with a true servant spirit. It brought her great joy to work in a kitchen as she was an incredible cook and loved to feed her family and volunteer at church dinner functions and other church events. She enjoyed crafting, sharing her gifts with children through church VBS and scouting programs. She loved reading, traveling and spending time and playing games (usually winning) with friends and family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Steven (Michelle) Jordan of Fort Myers, Kent (Denise) Jordan of Churchville, MD, and Tara (Michael) Clark of Elkridge, MD; her 10 grandchildren: Christina (Jamie) Harris, Christopher (Ashley) Jordan, Courtney (Brandon) Hilton, Rik (Bethani) Cramer, Weston (Miranda) Jordan, Elise (Ryan) Fowler, Dalton (Megan) Jordan, Wyatt Jordan, Kendyll (Hunter) Bogart, and Kelsie Clark,: and her 14 great grandchildren: Chloe Harris, Jamison Harris, Josiah Jordan, Kylie-Ray Jordan, Ellie-Jane Jordan, Jocelyn Jordan, Rik Cramer Jr, Patrick Cramer, Annie-Jane Cramer, Graham Cramer, Hugh Jordan, Mabel Ann Fowler, Rosie June Fowler, and Fletcher Fowler.
A Memorial Service will be held May 17th, 2025 @ 12:00 PM at Swan Lake Mobile Home Village in North Fort Myers, Florida. June will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Field of Honor in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
