Edna Mae Ruggeri's Obituary
Edna Mae Ruggeri, 97, passed away February 9, 2014. She was born January 6, 1917 in Beaumont, Kentucky to the late Charles and Sarah (Parrish) Simpson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roxy and 7 siblings.In Chicago, Edna was the owner of Ruggeri’s Park Avenue Beauty Salon for 26 years. In 1971, her family moved here to Fort Myers and again she opened and ran Ruggeri’s Beauty Salon for 13 more years. She was an avid golfer of the Whiskey Creek Country Club.Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia Lynch and her husband Tom of Alexander City, Alabama; grandchildren, Jeff Lynch and his wife Sarah of Tofte, Minnesota; Jim Lynch and his wife Suzanne of Sherman Oaks, California; and Roxanne Blanchard and her husband John of St. Cloud, Florida; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Jessica, Samantha, Cassandra and Ameline.There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
