Patti Baran,
"Now cracks a noble heart...
Good night, sweet prince
And flights of angels sing
thee to thy rest!"
…Hamlet, Act v, Sc.2
Uncle Ed will always be in the air that we breathe. He surely a one-of-a-kind fun, generous indomitable spirit who was/is loved and will be missed by all whom he selflessly touched with her warmth and Ed Baran kindness.
For us and others he made the world a better place with her heart of Ed Baran gold and a caring that will always be forever. Uncle Ed is now at home with the other angels ad infinitum and always speaking to us inside our minds and hearts.
Edward A Baran is now forever ….
“…as we stand before the Lord of Song with nothing on our tongue but
on our tongue but
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
" Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah “
“A new and perfect body
has entered into paradise
a soul has left this struggle
and entered eternal rest
a life has ceased its mortal beating
and heaven has gained a saint
for a faithful disciple
has been set free
and has joined eternity”
….Ray Foss
“Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.”
…….Mary Elizabeth Frye
“What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind...”
……………William Wordsworth
“….Living, to wing with mirth the weary hours,
Or with romantic tales the heart to cheer;
Dying, to leave a memory like the breath
Of summers full of sunshine and of showers,
A grief and gladness in the atmosphere.”
……………Longfellow
“Viva enim mortuorum in memoria vivorum est posita.”
The life of the dead is retained in the memory of the living.
………….Cicero
Wonderfully, his love will always be us . He will always be sharing and listening in our dreams. Uncle Ed will be with God and loved ones until we all meet again…..
