Clark, 74, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Hope Hospice House in Lehigh Acres, FL.?á Mr. Clark was born on?á August 21, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri.?á Edward retired from the U.S. Army in 1973 at the rank of Captain after 20 years of dedicated service.?á He was a member of the American Legion Post # 323 in Lehigh Acres, FL.?á After retirement from the government he was employed for many years in the automobile industry.?á Edward was an avid golfer until his failing health forced him to give it up.?á He had resided in Florida since September of 1988 coming from Kentucky.?á He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy Hagan Clark of Lehigh Acres, FL. ?áA Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Blvd.,?á Lehigh Acres, FL.?á Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.fortmyersmemorial.com.?á Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
