Edward J. Frisch, 93, a Fort Myers, FL resident since 1977 formerly of Richfield, OH passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born July 24, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to the late Edward and Amelia Frisch, Sr. Edward also lived in Cape Coral, Florida for 21 years.
Edward was a United States Army Air Corp. Veteran who proudly served his country. Ed was a mechanic by trade and owned Alico Service Center until he retired. He was always available when someone’s car needed his attention. Ed was always active in his church and helped in many ways. For a time, he had worked with The Gideons getting Bibles where needed. For the past 20+ years, Ed has attended Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral, FL., and lived his faith there.Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Doris, and his second wife Sally, and his sister, Betty, his two brothers, Fred and Theodore, and his granddaughter Sarah Guthrie.
Edward is survived by his daughters, Susan Guthrie (Richard) of Richland, WA and Linda Valenta of Fort Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Samuel Guthrie and Katie Valenta; as well as one beautiful great granddaughter, Isabel Guthrie.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future. Due to current social distancing practices, details will be added as the date becomes closer.
