Edward Allen Kasloff's Obituary
Edward Allen Kasloff, of Fort Myers, Passed away on March 29, 2022, while receiving care at Page Rehabilitation Center. Ed was born on June 7, 1932, to Harry and Sarah (Stogo) Kasloff in Dover, Delaware.
Ed has called Florida his home for 18 years. He enjoyed gardening, many times sharing his beautiful flowers with his loving wife Barbara. Ed was a scholar, with a master's degree in history and political science. He also shared his knowledge by teaching at Rowan University. Edward was very talented; he ran his own business making men's sweaters and other kinds of textile for many years. He enjoyed coloring in gel markers to give vibrant variation to various coloring books. He had a appreciated the deep meanings that large picture books can give. Ed's sense of humor was no serious matter, he would find any way to force a laugh or even a smirk. His infectious smile will be never forgotten but will be greatly misses.
Edward is preceded in passing by his parents Harry and Sarah and his sister Ruth.
Edwards loving memory will be left to his survivors, his precious wife Barbara, daughters Sheri of Philadelphia and Robbin of Tampa, son Niel of Atlanta, stepchildren Gale of Philidelphia and Danny of New Jersy. Ed also leaves 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many loving friends he has made along the way.
The family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens 1589 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers, FL with caring for Edwards final arrangements. There will be a memorial service held for Edward on April 7th, 2022 at 2PM located at the Palms Chapel at 2674 Winkler Avenue #121 Fort Myers, Florida 33901. Edward will later be laid to rest at Sarasota national cemetery.
