Edward Allen Rostick's Obituary
Edward Allen Rostick of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Hope Hospice. He was 80. Ed was born February 17, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harrison R. and Anna May Rostick. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Ed also worked as a postal clerk and retired after 30+ years of service as an assistant postmaster with the United States Postal Service. In addition to his postal service responsibilities, he worked 25+ years coordinating student mailings for Villanova University. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Peg Crossman. Ed is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Barbara Rostick; their three children, Sheryl Mitchell, Mark Edward Rostick, Gary Edward Rostick and his sister, Lois Omensetter. He is also survived by five grandsons, four granddaughters, one great grandson and one great granddaughter. Memorial Mass will be 11am, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. John XXIII Catholic Church 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912.
