Edward L. Vigneault's Obituary
Edward L. Vigneault, 95, a beloved resident of Fort Myers, Florida for the past 30 years, and formerly of New Hampshire, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was born on June 5, 1929, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the late Hector and Emma (née Charron) Vigneault.
Edward was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He found immense joy in fishing, golfing, and playing cards. A masterful carpenter, Edward dedicated his entire career to his craft. Above all, he loved his family deeply, whether spending time on fishing trips with his boys or enjoying summers at Silver Lake. His great sense of humor and zest for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie in 2014 and four siblings, Irene, Raymond, Leon and Georgette.
Edward is survived by his loving children, Paul Vigneault (Carol) of New Hampshire, Marc Vigneault (Lynne) of New Hampshire, Daniel Vigneault (Kim) of New Hampshire, Janice Humphrey of Florida, Edward “Chuck” Vigneault of New Hampshire, Elaine Knights (Fiancé, Stan) of Florida and James Vigneault (Fiancé, Amanda); one sister, Doris Sanborn of California; as well as many many grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren.
Services will be held in New Hampshire at a later date, more information will be posted later.
