So sorry to hear about our loss. Ed & I first met in Germany in 1974 and were stationed together for 6 years. He was my co-worker, roommate and a very good friend. There are so many good memories. He will be missed.Brad Sturges and family
I served with Chief Garcia. He was my boss during my impressionable early Army years. I looked up to him as a Soldier and loved him as a person. He was funny and enjoyed a good laugh. I always felt like hid special soldier, but it is likely he made us all feel that way. I had lost contact with him when he retired. It saddened me that I was not able to find him in any of my attempts over the years. Thanks Chief for being who you will always be to me. I love you! Rest in Peace dear friend.
We are so sad to lose our good friend, Ed. The Garcias were the first family we met when we moved to Florida 21 years ago. Even when we each moved to different areas we always kept in touch and would get together whenever possible. I would describe Ed as one of our very true and loyal friends and we will so miss him. He was a sweet and kind man. Our prayers are with the whole family and we hope that the memories of Ed will bring a smile to your face, as it does ours. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to know him.John and Cinder Danzey
My deepest sympathy to the entire Garcia Family. I knew Ed from multiple assignments that started in 1977 I also knew two of his children Chris and Nadine. We were stationed together in Germany on a couple occasions and also got together here in the United States. We lost touch after he retired but I have many memories of the times we spent together both professionally and personally. Mark Hole
