Eladio Alicea-Colon, 80, a resident of Ft. Myers since 1979, formerly of New Jersey passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Ft. Myers, FL. He was born January 8, 1939 in Cidra, Puerto Rico to Alcadio Alicea and Felicita Colon, now deceased.Eladio liked working on cars and was a landscaper by trade. He loved singing and spending time with friends and family. His biggest pride was his three daughter and his son. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Esther Alicea and his son, Eladio Alicea Jr.Eladio is survived by his three loving daughters, Sandra Gonzalez of Ft. Myers, FL, Francis Edwards (Tim) of Cape Coral, FL and Karen Alicea (Bill) of Cape Coral, FL; two brothers, Fausto Alicea of Ft. Myers, FL and Pablo Alicea of Virginia; One sister, Mary Alicea of Puerto Rico; seven grandchildren, Eugene, Quanisha, Laniesha, Cesar, Jr., Jessica, Thalia and Chloe; as well as 5 great grandchildren, Tiana, Jayden, Aniyah, Deliah and Amelia.A visitation will be held Thursday February 7th 2019 from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL.
