Although we both attended West High School, I never knew Elaine. However, I see from the Facebook postings of kind and grateful words from her friends at West, that Elaine is dearly loved. I remember the first time I met her, she brought Kenny with her & we met up at Rader's. It was a nice visit. Then another time she came up to the camper & hung out for awhile. Then again when Sweet was visiting, we took her with us to go see Elaine while Sam was in the hospital. I'll never forget the look on Elaine's face when she realized it was Sweet with us.
