Elaine D. Keltner's Obituary
Elaine D. Keltner, 97, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was born April 28, 1921 in Morrow, GA and moved to Florida from Memphis, TN in 1946. She was a longtime member of Fort Myers Beach United Methodist Church and most recently was a member of the Chapel at Cypress Cove. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia and was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She was also an active member of the Fort Myers Beach Garden Club.Mrs. Keltner is survived by her children: Jacob Keltner, Jr. (Rita) and Tonya Kelly (Tom), both of Fort Myers; her grandchildren: Kelly, Jason, Holly and Hope and her great grandchildren: Taylor, Heaven, Tayrn, Isaiah, Addison, Micah, Gisselle and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob, G. Keltner, Sr. in 2002; her brother, Charles Milton Daniel, Jr. and her sister-in-law, Martha Daniel.A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 – 3 pm on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A memorial service will be on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2 pm in the chapel of Cypress Cove.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
