Elaine Smith, 77, of Fort Myers died May 6, 2016 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Elaine was born January 19, 1939 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Melbourne and Marion Hynes. Surviving are her children, Scott Smith of New York, Steve Smith of Charlotte, NC; brother, Larry Hynes and his wife Bette of Lynchburg, VA and grandchildren, Renee and Heather.The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Elaine.
