Eldie Ocheda's Obituary
Eldie Ocheda, 82, of Lehigh Acres, passed away on March 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Ocheda.
Eldie was born January 30, 1944, in Taal Batangas, in the Phillipines, to Adriano and Enriqueta (Garces) Hernandez. She enjoyed a very simple life as she grew, the youngest of four sisters who helped care for her family into adulthood.
She and her husband Daniel were wed in 1977 at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago, Illinois. She and Daniel were inseparable, traveling through life side by side. During the 1970’s she emigrated to the United States and, as she naturally cared for others, attended then graduated nursing school. In 1978 she was blessed with a son, Mark Ocheda, and was delighted to shower him with love. She supported Mark throughout his many endeavors and trials, always there to do whatever she could for her beloved son.
Even through her Nursing career and Motherhood, she was able to find her own pursuits. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune. She loved to play the piano and was certainly skilled to tickle the ivory. Dancing was her passion and took any chance to do so alongside her beloved husband.
Eldie is survived by her husband Daniel Ocheda and their son Mark Ocheda (wife Liz). She also leaves behind innumerable friends she had made throughout her life.
