Eleanor Imburgia's Obituary
Eleanor Imburgia, 80, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Shellpoint Hospice. She was born February 12, 1934 in Warren, OH to the late Adam Mack and Philomena Sferra Mack. Eleanor worked as a Bank Teller before joining the accounts receivable staff at Macy’s. After retirement, she worked with the Lee County Sheriff’s office as a dispatcher. Eleanor has been a Lee County resident since 1978 and is a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Fort Myers. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, James J. Imburgia. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is also preceded in death by her sister in law, Anna Mack; parents in law, John and Josephine Imburgia and her brothers in law, Joseph and Larry Imburgia. Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, John (Laura) Imburgia of Indiana, daughters, Terri Ann (Scott) Klare and Rosanne (Dino) Mandala of Fort Myers; siblings, Raymond Mack, Eileen Mack, and David (Nancy) Mack of Warren, OH, and Norman (Donna) Mack of The Villages, FL. She is also survived by her sister in law, Bess Imburgia of Warren, OH and 4 grandsons, Emory Mandala, Aaron Mandala, and Nicholas Klare of Fort Myers and Jonathan Imburgia of Indiana. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00am, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Church 2157 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33901. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hope Hospice 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
