I will always love you Grandma. You were an incredibly strong woman who loved and cared for her family endlessly. You were a very forgiving person and you passed that trait on to my mom! I will never forget your laugh and your smile. You laughed a lot, we were always able to make you giggle!I have been thinking about our time together in the past and I remembered the day I came over to your house, (I was maybe 7?) I had my bathing suit on, I was really excited to swim and went running through the living room towards the pool and BANG! I ran right into the (just recently cleaned) sliding glass door and ended up with a bloody nose. It was so clean I thought the door was open!I remember swimming in the pool with Heidi and Spoofy (Spoffy?). I remember when you came to take care of me and Allison when both of my parents were out of town. 9/11 happened then and you were there for us when we got home from school to comfort us and tell us everything is going to be ok! I remember the first time you saw me after Leo was born you told me “Motherhood has been good to you” haha ??Thank you for everything you have done. A big part of who I am is because of you and the life path you created. May you and Grandpa rest in peace on this very emotional day for our family. As you and Grandpa are being laid to rest together by unexplainable incredible circumstances, your great grandson, Lucas, is being born! What a beautiful example of the circle of life With love forever, Ashley, Jorge and Leo
