Elizabeth "Betty" Alexander Judd's Obituary
Elizabeth Alexander (Sime) Judd passed away on April 11, 2012. She was born in Mishawaka, IN on March 26, 1932 to Georgina (Gregor) Sime and James Sime. Throughout most of her life she went by the name ?Ç£Betty?Ç¥. She graduated from Mishawaka High Scholl in 1950. She was active in rainbow. Elizabeth enrolled in nursing school at Indianapolis Methodist Hospital, graduating in 1953. Upon graduation she accepted a nursing job at the Northern Indiana Children?ÇÖs Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Later she moved to West Palm Beach and worked in nursing, both in a hospital environment and for a private physician. She then moved back to the South bend area where she married Robert W. Judd, in August 1959. She and Robert moved to Fort Myers, FL in 1986, where she worked at Shell Point, Lee County Retirement (nursing) Home and Gulf Coast Village. Elizabeth retired in 2000.?á She is survived by; husband, Robert; daughter, Kim Perkins of Nineveh, IN; granddaughters, Megan Perkins, Lindsey Perkins and Taylor Sharber; grandson, Ian Judd of Vandalia, MI; great granddaughter Zoe Smith; brother, John (Jack) Sime of Bremen, In and North Fort Myers, FL; sister, Barbara Vance?áof Whittier, CA. She was preceded in death by son, Mark Warren Judd on March 2010.?á Arrangements are handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home
