Elizabeth Earl Harrison's Obituary
Elizabeth Harrison, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She was born January 31, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois; the daughter of Helmut L. Bosten and Helen M. Watson Bosten.
Betsy was predeceased by her parents and her first husband, Robert J. Earl in 1995, her second husband, Angus D. Harrison in 2013, her brother Helmet H. (Sonny) Bosten, and her sister, Caroline Wright Trigleth.
She is survived by her twin brother, Richard N. Bosten, her sister, Helen A. Brittenham, and many nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.
Betsy lived many happy and fulfilled years. She had a successful career as a banker, retiring from Coconut Grove Bank in Miami as a vice president. She loved sailing, traveling, photography, and being with family and friends. She was a strong supporter of the American Heart Association blood drive programs, donating blood throughout her life. Betsy had a special love for all living creatures, especially those cats or kittens that had the luck of venturing into her path, needing a home. As such, in lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to your local humane society in her name.
A Graveside inurnment will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL.
