Elizabeth Catherine Hoff's Obituary
Elizabeth Catherine Hoff of Fort Myers, Florida, better known simply as "Betty" to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 while receiving care at Hope Hospice for some recent health challenges. She was 87 years old.
Betty was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31, 1935, the beautiful daughter to Bridgette (Lucey) and John Joseph Ebert. She was a longtime resident of Southwest Florida and had been living at Cypress Cove for the past several years. She was a active parishioner at St. Columbkille Catholic Church where she worshipped regularly. She was a beacon of sunshine to everybody she knew and will be warmly remembered and fondly missed.
A Memorial Service for Betty will be celebrated by Deacon Jim Tesoriero of St. Columbkille Church at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 29, 2022 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Guests will be received for a half-hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. Following these service, Betty will be laid to rest inside her crypt located at the Mausoleum inside the Hall of Christ Stilling the Water at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.
