Elizabeth S. Nee's Obituary
Elizabeth S. Nee of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, September 10, 2021 while under Hospice Care following soem recent health challenges. She was 99 years old.
Elizabeth was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 4, 1922, the beautiful daughter to Hughina (Hamilton) and Charles Stewart. She moved to Florida from New Jersey, many years ago. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter Kathleen Nee of Fort Myers and grandson, Brandon Nee (Christine) of Arizona. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert F. Nee, in 1996.
A Visitation for Elizabeth will be conducted from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. At the conclusion of the viewing, family and friends will join in a procession to Elizabeth's place of final rest lead by the playing of bagpipes. Following some words of commendation from the family at this committal service, Elizabeth will be laid to rest alongside her previously departed husband Robert at the Mausoleum located inside the Garden of Peace.
