Elizabeth Schubert's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Schubert of Estero, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Elizabeth was born in New York, New York on October 28, 1945, the daughter of Elizabeth and Henry Silvestri. “Betty” was a home maker and administrator throughout her life. She was the loving wife of Heinrich “Heinz” of Estero, FL for 53 years. Betty leaves behind daughter, Alicia Schubert of Cape Coral, FL. Son, Chris Schubert of Little Falls, NJ. Grandchildren in Cape Coral, Florida – Ashley, Alexis and a Great-grandson, Jayden. Grandchildren in Little Falls, New Jersey, Kristen and Kaitlyn. Brothers in Center Village, Connecticut - Henry Silvestri and James Silvestri. As well as many additional family and friends in FL, NJ, NY, and CT.
Betty spent her 75 years wisely as she frequently traveled out of the country experiencing and exploring cultures outside of her own. She lived life with a warm smile on her face and had a heart so full love it had no room for anger or judgment towards others. Her greatest passion in life was making sure her loved ones were well taken care of, but some of her other passions included a mind challenging crossword puzzle or cross stitching a captivating design and making it look easy.
A Funeral Service for Elizabeth will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas A. Heck at 2:30 PM inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation immediately preceding this ceremony at 1:30 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these services, friends and family will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Elizabeth will be laid to rest inside the Mausoleum located at the Garden of Serenity.
