Ellen Jean Shunk of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Friday, October 12, 2018 following some recent health challenges. She was 84 years old.Ellen was born on April 5, 1934 in Evanston, Illinois, the beautiful daughter of Jule (Young) and W. Earl Wagner.A Mass of Christian Burial for Ellen will be celebrated by Monsignor Stephen E. McNamara at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 inside the main sanctuary at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919, (239) 481-7171. Guests will be received for a half-hour preceding the Mass for Visitation in the church narthex beginning at 9:30 AM. A Reception and Celebration of Life will immediately follow the conclusion of Mass and will take place inside the Parish Center.
