Elmer B. Johnson's Obituary
Elmer B. Johnson, 90, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was born August 3, 1927 in Hialeah, FL to Elmer B. and Leona (Anderson) Johnson. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He moved to Fort Myers from Miami in 1987 following his retirement as a plumber. He also owned and operated Johnson Honey Farm from 1978 – 2007. He was a member of McGregor Baptist Church.Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gwen F. Johnson; his children: David Johnson of Naples and Annette Couch (Brad) of Lake Kiowa, TX; his sister, Shirley White (Bob) of High Springs, FL; his grandchildren: Jessica, and Alyssa Johnson, and Lauren Casa and Jared Couch and one great grandson, Isaac Casa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lester Johnson and his daughter, Yvonne Johnson.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2018 at McGregor Baptist Church, 3750 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.
