Eric Magram Weiner's Obituary
Eric Magram Weiner, 56, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2021 in Naples, FL.
He was born in Rochester, NY on April 16, 1965, the only son of Louise (Magram) and Sheldon Weiner. He attended public schools in Burlington and graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, where he proudly played on the football team. He loved sports, especially football, baseball, basketball and hockey and was a life long fan of his alma mater, UVM, athletics.
Upon graduation from UVM he moved to Naples, FL to oversee the construction of his Ben & Jerry's franchise shop where he spent the next 34 years. He opened 2 more shops in Bonita Springs and Ft. Myers and liked telling customers every ingredient of every flavor of ice cream. He trained hundreds of young employees over the years and formed
some amazing friendships. Eric loved animals, especially his Wheaton Terrier, Bailey, and his devoted cat, Billy, as well as all of the family's English Bulldogs.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, sisters Danielle and Elizabeth (Larry) and Elizabeth's children, Jack Henry, Iris and Tate. He also leaves his 2 aunts, Iris Weiner Miller
and Audrey Magram as well as his wonderful friend and mentor, Edward Handy. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Sheldon Weiner.
Funeral services were held in Florida.
