Erik was a true gem…when he was made, the mold was broken. Despite what he faced after his diagnosis, he continued to be strong, loving, unselfish and full of charm and wit. He will be forever loved and forever missed by those of us fortunate enough to be blessed by his friendship and/or kinship. Your legacy will live on by all those lives you touched during your brief time on this earth. We know you'll be watching over us. Keep smiling, dear Erik, like you always did. That is what I will miss most! Until we meet again…
