Ethel Kulick's Obituary
Ethel Kulick, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Feb. 1, 2014 at the age of 95 after a brief illness. She died peacefully in the presence of her loving children. Ethel was a native of Paterson, NJ and was the eldest of five girls. She lived there with her husband Morton Kulick, M.D., a dermatologist, until they moved to Fort Myers in 1986. She lived a life of family, community, and the pursuit of learning. She loved music, was an accomplished pianist, and enjoyed the symphony and opera. She had an extensive knowledge and appreciation of art and antiques. Ethel was a selfless and loving person with a generous spirit. Her primary focus was her family. She was a great role model for her children, granddaughter, and great-grandchildren. Her love of life will continue to inspire all those who knew her. She was a past member of Barnert Temple in Paterson, NJ, an active member of Temple Beth El in Fort Myers, FL, a life member of Hadassah, and a supporter of the Jewish Federation. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Morton Kulick, M.D. She is survived by her son John Kulick, M.D. (Paula) of Delray Beach, FL, her daughter Lesley Porter (Marvin) of Fort Myers, FL, her granddaughter Jennifer Schneider (Ken) of Manalapan, NJ, her great-grandchildren Mia and Evan Schneider, her sister Florence Lowenstein (Harold) of Coral Gables, FL, her sister Barbara Miller of Fairlawn, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
