Ethel Emily (Houghton) Pink, daughter of Frederick John Houghton & Charlotte Isobella (Carrod) Houghton, born on April 28 1926 and passed on August 19 2016 in Ft Myers, FL. peacefully at home with her daughters at her side.Predeceased by her beloved Maverick Sailor, William E. Pink; survived by her brothers,Frederick & Ronald Houghton, sisters Irene Griffiths & Janet Groves all of the environs ofLondon, England and by sister, Joan O’Sullivan of Canada; also survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Pink Covert of Victoria, TX; Barbara Ann Molseed of Allentown, PA and Katherine Pink Bonfante of Ft Myers, FL. As well as sons-in-law, Rick Covert & Tom Molseed.She leaves behind four grandchildren she adored: Abby Covert Sanford, wife of James Sanford of Melbourne, FL; Sydney Houghton Covert of Austin, TX; Kelsey Emily Molseed of Winston-Salem, NC; Maxwell Colin Molseed of Philadelphia, PA. She also leaves behind a great, granddaughter, Isabel Pink Birmingham of Austin, TX.Ethel’s life revolved around her beloved Bill to whom she was married for more than 64 years. Bill’s 20 year Naval career took them many places most notably Penn State in State College, PA where they both developed a great passion for Nittany Lions football.Ethel was a grandmother to her own grandchildren as well as many other younger folks. Her later life revolved around always being there for whomever needed her most; notably at Lake Meade, PA which was their warm weather home for more than 25 years. She also had a passion for libraries, knitting, crossword puzzles, football (Steelers & Penn State), fostering kittens and helping the homeless.RIP Ethel Emily Pink.
