Eugenia Kontinos Loughney's Obituary
Eugenia Kontinos Loughney, 75, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was born June 28, 1939 in Keene, NH and moved to Fort Myers from Sanibel in 2002. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs. Loughney leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 39 years, Thomas L. Loughney: her daughter, Athana M. Carballo of Fort Myers: her siblings: John Kontinos (Bella) of Fort Myers, Nick Kontinos (Penny) of Estero and Elaine Kalaris of Alabama. Also surviving is her grandson, Fernando Thomas. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 8210 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
