Evelyn Marie Bitter's Obituary
Evelyn Marie Bitter, 92, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Villa Palms in Fort Myers, Florida. Mrs. Bitter was born October 1, 1921 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Frank H. Hiske and Annette Nelsen Hiske. Marie was the widow of the late George E. Bitter. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two sons, Larry Bitter and Donald Bitter. She was a musician and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Marie enjoyed having a good time and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Ken (Vickie) Bitter of Cleveland, Georgia and her daughter, Nancy (Richard) Cranford of North Fort Myers, Florida; her grandchildren, Kristin (Mike) Barry, Aimee (Aaron Smith) Cranford, Stacey (Mike) Wilson, Glenn Bitter , Mark (Gina) Bitter and Kim (Anthony) Cannamela; a great granddaughter, Natalie Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Sheila Bitter of Yorktown, Virginia and Marie Bitter of Cape Coral, Florida; her sister, Barbara (Ben) Digironimo of Punta Gorda, Florida. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida.
