Evelyn Marinelli's Obituary
Evie, as she was known, passed away at Joanne’s Hope Hospice House in Bonita Springs after a long illness. She was 87.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Henry Raymond Marinelli, a WWII Veteran. She is survived by her 3 children; Gail, Scott and Craig(Jean), 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Evie was born in North Plainfield, NJ and moved with her husband to Fort Myers in 1971. She cheerfully dedicated her life to the raising of her children and caring for her family. She was a member of several women’s organizations and Westminster Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was an avid follower of Jesus Christ and showed a genuine interest and concern in all she met. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, vivacious hugs and tender heart. We loved her and greatly miss her.Funeral services will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 16. Visitation will start at 11:00AM with services to follow at 1:00. The family asks that all memorial gifts be directed to Hope Hospice or the Alvin A Dubin Alzheimer’s Association.
