My deepest sympathy to all the family. My deepest regret is that I never got to meet my mother's youngest sister but I heard a lot of wonderful things about her from my mother and my sister Joan. She was a very beautiful lady and I think I got her love for fashion but I don't think I could ever look as good as she did. Elaine Peet (Porter)
I have only one memory of aunt Evelyn. In 1967 I was working in Nova Scotia, Canada.My sister Joan was living in Mass. so I went there for a visit. My brother in law Bob SaulAnd Fred picked me up at Boston airport and on the way to Joan's we visited her homeIn Mass. We stayed for a meal and a very nice conversation. That was the only timeI saw her and wish very much that would have got to see her again. She reminded meso much of my mother. Many have inquired about flowers for mom's memorial service. Mom wanted to be cremated with a small service for immediate family and did not want flowers. An animal lover, she preferred the money be used to donate to our local humane society. If you would like to do so, here is the link.
