I am very sorry to have just learned of the death of Dr. Ritrowsky. She was my first Supervisor after I retired from the Navy as a pediatric nurse Practitioner. We worked together in the Ft. Myers pediatric clinic Health Department. Dr. Ritrowsky was a very knowledgeable Pediatrician and was always open to answering questions. We traveled out of town to attend a workshop on breastfeeding and had the opportunity to do a little shopping afterwards. I was a single Parent of two young children . She always had a listening ear when I had some difficulty at home. Many years later I saw a Woman sitting across from me in the waiting room at the Toyota dealership. She looked somewhat familiar to me. I approached her and asked her if she was Dr. Ritrowsky. She certainly was and we enjoyed conversing again until she was called that her car was ready! I have had the privilege of being a patient of her Son. He is an excellent plastic Surgeon and I highly recommend him! Rest in the love and joy of the Lord, Dr. Ritrowsky!
