Florence "Birdie" Earhart's Obituary
Florence “Birdie Earhart, 79, a longtime resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 16, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 20, 1944 in Millersburg, KY to the late Hoyle and Anna (nee Moore) Lawson.
Birdie was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Patrick; son, Michael Patrick; sister, Jane Hyatt; three brothers, Danny Lawson, Billy Lawson and Alfred Moore; as well as a niece, Gina Lee Lawson Burton.
Birdie is survived by her loving husband, James Earhart; son, Mark Patrick and his wife, Kelsey; one brother, Hoyle “Chuck” Lawson; one sister, Peggy Pedigo; three grandchildren, Taylor, Michael and Dalton; as well as four nieces and one nephew, Daphne, Della, Farrah, Norma Lee, Dana and J.W.; three nieces and one nephew, Rhonda Jane Cupp, Cynthia Lynn Jenkins, Deanna Lawson Berry and Kenneth Ray Lawson; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM inside the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Fountain Garden of Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
