Florence Patricia Pallitto's Obituary
Florence Patricia Pallitto who was a longtime prior resident of Old Bridge, New Jersey before moving to Lehigh Acres, Florida in 1985, passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Myers, Florida on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. She was 95 years old.
Florence was born in Harrison, New Jersey on January 24, 1929, the beautiful daughter to Cathleen (Bleigh) and Roger Maloney. She was a long-tenured employee at Radio Corporation of America (RCA) where she worked as a corporate secretary. She was an outgoing, active and friendly person throughout her life who had a love for cooking and was equally comfortable preparing a meal as she was being a customer at her favorite restaurant. She liked to bowl in her early adult life and as she grew older in age and wisdom, she came to appreciate the skill needed to compete and succeed in the game of Bocce. She also liked to watch other forms of competition like her favorite television game show, Wheel of Fortune. Florence also liked to socialize and relax and could raise a beer equally well at the annual Octoberfest as she could make a toast with her Dry Manhattan during happy hour or relax after a good meal with a Bourbon Old Fashioned. Florence will be always warmly remembered and very dearly missed.
Florence leaves to cherish her loving memory daughter Lisa Cherubini; granddaughter Angela Bernadette Cherubini, grandson Michael R. Riddick, great-grandsons R.J. Morgan II and Elijah Louis Ruggiero; nieces Cheryl LeVesque, Donna Maloney, Sharon Reeves and Kelly Maloney.
Sadly, Florence was preceded in death by her first husband, Mario Cherubini, 2nd husband Peter Nicholas Pallitto; her daughters Patricia Ellen Riddick and Maryann Cherubini and nephew Patrick Maloney.
