Frances Lenore "Leni" Manno's Obituary
Frances Lenore “Leni” Manno of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at The Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Cape Coral. She was born August 16, 1928 in Asbury Park, NJ to the late Frank H. Rowland and Lila Lewis Rowland. Leni was instrumental in furthering the Cultural Park Theater of Cape Coral. In addition to her involvement as an actor and director, she was also involved in many outreach activities. She also worked for many years conducting classes that taught children and adults how to perform monologues and prepare for auditions. She was a veteran of the stage who shared her commitment as an actor, director and role model with her community. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, James C. Pentaleri and Gerald Manno and two sons, James C. Pentaleri, Jr. and James R. ”Rocky” Pentaleri. Left behind to cherish her memory are three daughters Patricia L. (Frederic) Terry, Pamela G. (Patrick W.) Devaney and Julia A. O’Gorman. She also leaves behind her loving granddaughter, Tiffany O’Gorman and two of her dearest friends, Lee Otto and Ann Byrum. A Memorial Gathering will be held 11am-12pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33907.
