Francis J. Noack's Obituary
Francis J. Noack of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Key Largo, Florida passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 in his residence. He was 89. Francis was born April 25, 1926 in Buffalo, New York to the late Francis J. Noack, Sr. and Bertha Ranger Noack. He worked as an artist and was one of the first creators of cartoons. In addition to his animation artwork, he also expressed his many talents using multiple mediums including sculpture and canvas. He was committed to his faith as a life-long devout catholic. As a member of St. Justin Martyr parish in Key Largo, he served the church in many capacities including various art works throughout the church and serving as a Eucharistic Minister. He was also a proud veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sister Bertha Frances (Lorraine Noack). Francis is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret A. “Peggy” Noack and their four sons, David (Anita) Noack, Kenneth Noack, Lee Noack and Kevin (Angela) Noack. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Lisa Peavy, Brian Noack and Andrea Dillon along with his loving great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 in the chapel of The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919.
