Frank Carbonara's Obituary
Frank Carbonara, 65, a cherished resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2017 and a former native of Brooklyn, NY, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his residence.
Born on September 1, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Joseph and Lina (Andriano) Carbonara, Frank's early years were marked by a deep connection to his hometown and its vibrant culture. He spent many years as a dedicated deli manager in Brooklyn, where his warm personality and hard work earned him the respect and love of his community.
Frank was an unwavering fan of the New York Yankees, with a passion for sports that was infectious. His love for the game was known to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his dedication to his team was unparalleled. He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Jerry Carbonara and nephew, Adam Carbonara.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Ann Marie of Cape Coral, FL; three adored children, Jennifer Carbonara and her fiancé, Francisco Velazquez of Lakeland, Florida, Frank Carbonara of Cape Coral, FL and Natalie Carbonara and her significant other, Alan Alakhverdyan of Staten Island, NY; three siblings, Joey Cabonara, Phil Cabonara and Nikki Cabonara; a very dear close friend of the family, Jeannine Romandetti; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Franks Life will be Celebrated 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3:00 PM until the service time at 4:00 PM.
Frank will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family, and his joy in sharing his passions with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a love for sports that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
