Frank James' Obituary
Frank W. James, 89, of Alto, Georgia, formerly of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Mr. James was born on June 20, 1921, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late William James.?á He was also preceded in death by his wife, Velma R. Davis James; his brothers, William Jesse and Vernon James; and his sister, Martha Louise Freels.?á Mr. James was a veteran of World War II having proudly served in the United States Navy.?á Mr. James was a retired house painter. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Rembert H. Cragg, Alto, GA; granddaughter, Lori Ann Fain, Buford, GA; grandson, Lorne H. Cragg and his wife, DeRenda, Mr. Airy, GA; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Christian Pierce, Mt. Airy, GA; and niece, Anna Jenkins and her husband, Wilburn, Evansville, IN. Interment will be in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
