Frank Paul Potestio's Obituary
Frank Paul Potestio, Sr., 95 of Naples died Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was born September 30, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Francesco and Rosaria (Aiosa) Potestio. Mr. Potestio was an avid musician – music was his life playing in “Frankie Paul and his Orchestra” until he was 90 years young. In his journeys, he played with greats like Aretha Franklin, Nat King Cole, Buddy Rich, Dina Shore and Jackie Gleason. He was a resident of Collier County, Florida for 20 years and belonged to the Rotary Club of Southfield, Michigan. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 70 years, Rose T. Gagliardi Potestio; son, Frank (Linda) Potestio, Jr. of Naples, Florida; daughter, Roseanne A. (Stan) Gracki of Royal Oak, Michigan; and his 2 grandchildren, Nick and Jake.
