Frank Sirianni Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Sirianni Jr., 82, departed this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 29th, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Frank (“Babe”) was born on April 16th, 1941 in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Frank Sirianni Sr. and Virginia Sirianni. He had one brother, Sam “Sonny” Sirianni (wife Margaret), who also preceded him in death. He earned a Master’s degree and played football at West Virginia University (1960-1963), earning the Ira Errett Rodgers Award his senior year for his outstanding play at Tackle.
Frank married the love of his life, his late wife Sally, in 1966. He moved his family to Fort Myers, Florida in 1970. Frank served as a teacher and a coach at Fort Myers High School for 41 years, from 1970 until his retirement in 2010. “Coach Frank” led the wrestling team (1974-1976), the baseball team (1977-1994), and served as the defensive coordinator on the football team (1970-2010).
He was a devoted follower of Christ, beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. His most precious time was spent with family. He loved coaching and golfing with the guys, and he really enjoyed breakfast at McDonald’s. Frank fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith (2 Tim. 4:7).
Frank is survived by his two children Frank III (wife Crissy), Gina (husband David), grandchildren Jacob (wife Sarah), Luke (wife Gina), Brooke (husband Cliff) and great grandchildren, Beckett, Beau and Baylor.
