I'm sorry to hear of his passing but honestly where the Farmingdale Post Office is concerned he sold us out to management numerous times for personal benefit.
I am heartbroken over the passing of Fred. A friend for over 30 years. A former full time officer of NALC Branch 6000 representing over 3500 active carriers on Long Island. Myself an John Cronin have top many good memories to share from the numerous conventions and meetings we attended together. Tony Calabrese and I flew with Fred to Cincinnati in the late 80’s for a USPS function. Our rooms were given away so we had to find a new hotel. There were two rooms left at the hotel. Fred stuck us in a hotel room next to the elevators and he took the large suite. He laughed the entire time we were there. A great guy and a true friend. Rest In Peace my friend.
