Freida M. Palmer's Obituary
Freida M. Palmer of Shell Point and formerly of North Fort Myers, Florida and Cape Cod, Massachusetts passed away peacefully following some recent health challenges on Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was 94 years old.Born and raised in Somerville, NJ, she was married to the late Donald H. Palmer, and moved to Worcester, then Shrewsbury, Massachusetts for many years, and summered in Brewster on Cape Cod. She worked for the Barnstable County School District for many years, until retiring to Fort Myers, Florida.and becoming a notable oil painter. Freida is survived by her sons, Donald Jr. of Cape Coral, FL; daughter Sandra of Brewster, MA; grandchildren Andrew and Summer Williams and great-great grandchildren, Charlotte and Rhett Williams of Brewster, MA.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private. Arrangements for Freida’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Cremation rites will be accorded. Freida will thereafter be laid to rest alongside her previously deceased husband Donald during a private committal service inside the Cremation Garden located at the Sylvan Terrace section of Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
