Gary R. Frohlin's Obituary
Gary R. Frohlin, 77, Fort Myers, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was born in Staten Island, New York, was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a proud member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After marrying the love of his life, Susie, they moved many times, eventually settling in Colts Neck, New Jersey in 1970, to raise their family. In 1992, they moved to Fort Myers to live near her parents.Gary is predeceased by his parents, Robert (1994) and Ernestine Marshall Frohlin (1978) and by his wife, Susan Knight Frohlin, and is survived by his daughter, Hilary Frohlin Hoffman, granddaughter, Hayley E. Hoffman, and sisters Cynthia Poole and Lorinda Claxton.Those who knew Gary call him the most kind, generous and loving man. He was most proud of his 52 year marriage to his devoted wife, Susie; his loving daughter, Hilary; and especially his granddaughter Hayley, for overcoming many obstacles to achieve her dreams of studying veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His only regret was that he would not see Hayley’s graduation in June this year.A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Chapel, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL, 33907. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home.
