Obituary for George Burton Biddulph Sept 30, 1917 – Dec 10, 2013Burt Bidduph, a native Californian born in the San Joaquin Valley town of Alpaugh spent his life serving Christ and others, primarily in the Spanish speaking world of Colombia, South America, and Spain where, he spent a total of 47 years together with his wife Berna who predeceased him in 2005. He studied in Greenville College, Greenville, IL, and received his Masters in Religious Education from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California. A WWII veteran who served in the Army Chaplaincy, his leadership in missionary endeavors and theological education centered around the Biblical Seminary of Colombia located in Medellin. He is survived by his wife Doloris whom he married in 2008, his children Judy Mayer and her husband Jim, Howard and Jan Bidduph, and Robert and Sydney Biddulph; his sisters, Edith Root (Leonard), Sylvia Barry (Edward), and Lois Ogan (James), as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren scattered from Montevideo, Uruguay to Madrid, Spain and the USA. The memorial service will be at 10:15 on Friday, Dec. 27 in the chapel at the Village Church at Shell Point.
