George A. Facella's Obituary
George A. Facella, 75, of North Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born June 25, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of John and Dolores (Wisner) Facella. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He moved to North Fort Myers from Brooklyn in 1976.
Mr. Facella is survived by his children: George S. Facella (Beth) of Lehigh Acres, Amy E. Moore (Chris) of Cape Coral, John Facella (Jessica) of Lehigh Acres and Michael Facella of Maine; grandchildren: Patrick, Christopher, Tori, Ciara, Justin, Ian and Gavin; his great grandchildren: Rilee and Luka; his sisters: Elaine Peluso and Marilyn Defazio, both of New York. Also surviving is his fiance, Pam Zola of North Fort Myers.
Mr. Facella will be laid to rest with other honorably discharged veterans in Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
