George Pagella's Obituary
George Pagella, 97, years of age, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Hospice House North in Cape Coral, Florida. Mr. Pagella was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 7, 1916 a son of the late Battista Pagella and Amelia Parodi Pagella. George was employed for 45 years as a truck driver. He was a veteran of WWII and proudly and faithfully served his country from June 9, 1943 until October 23, 1945 in the United States Navy. He was former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Massachusetts. He had resided here since 1981, coming from Springfield, Massachusetts. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kiyoko Pagella, of North Fort Myers, Florida; his step-son, Earl Confalone of Mansfield, Ohio; his brother, Raymond (Frances) Pagella of Springfield, Massachusetts; his sisters, Toshi (Bob) Dodge of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Mitsuko (Rick) Duncan of North Fort Myers, Florida; a niece, Jackie (Clint) Lane of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907. The family will be present on Saturday to receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Entombment will be in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
