Lit a candle in memory of Gerry C. "Chuck" Rants
Chuck was truly one of my very best friends. We met while serving on the U.S.S. Forrestal in the early 60's. He was one of the grooms in my wedding. He also was the person that got me interested in sports car racing, by taking me to Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. I have many good memories of our friendship. My condolences to Lynn and Gerry. Chuck Pa – what can I say but I Love You!! I wish everyone in the world could have met you to know what a wonderful man you were. I have honestly never met a more loving and caring person than you. You were always my right arm in raising all of these kids and I will miss you dearly every day. Especially our annual "let's get the kids school supplies day" when we would always end it with wings at Hooters. You have left a legacy for these children that is incredible. Thank you for making sure that the grandchildren are taken care of in your absence. The long past several days that we have spent in the hospital together talking about everything under the sun meant the world to me and my love for you grew even more.
