I lived at 314 east 54 and I remember George and Gertrude Steamer, Joey and Steven.I lived across the street. The Steamer family lived on the third floor front of Rabbi Stein's apartment house. As a young boy I was fond of the Steamer family and I remember Gertrude as being very king and loving. I would like to hear from Joey or Steven. My sympathy and condolences on the loss of their mom.
